O R D E R

This writ petition is filed to quash the impugned order of the first respondent in Oo.Ni.6/3695/2013 dated 23.10.2014 and to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to appoint any one of the ward member in Keela Kodumalur Village Panchayat as co-signatory with the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the cheque signing powers of the President has been taken away and entrusted to the Vice President, based on the orders passed by the District Collector, Ramanathapuram District and the same is challenged in this writ petition. 2/4

3. The learned Special Government Pleader submits that the petitioner was elected as President from the year 2011 to 2016 and now, the tenure of the elected legal body is over. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication.

3. Obviously, the tenure of the petitioner, who was elected as President for the years 2011 to 2016, would be over by now. Hence, no further orders can be passed in this matter and the writ petition is hereby closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
