ORDER

Heard Mr.P.Saravanan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents.

2. Let me not enter into a detailed discussion on the grounds for seeking patta for the property situated at T.Punavasal Village, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District by the petitioner herein with respect to Punjai Survey Nos.46/5, 121/1, 121/4, 122/2, 122/3 and 156/7A.

3. An appeal in this very regard is now pending before the third respondent/the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District in A6/9615/2021. It is informed by Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Additional Government Pleader that the next date for enquiry is on 14.02.2022.

4. Let the parties, particularly, the petitioner herein and anybody else appear before the said third respondent/the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District and an obligation is placed on the said official to enquire the matter in manner known to law and pass a considered order. It is hoped that necessary orders would be passed on or before 31.05.2022.

5. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
