Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to conduct enquiry on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 26.10.2021.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. This writ petition has been filed for directing the second respondent to act on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 26.10.2021.

3. A reading of the complaint indicates that the petitioner has been cheated by one Silambarasu. Since cognizable offence is made made out on the very face of it, the second respondent is bound to register the First Information Report. The petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent on 18.11.2021 at 11.00 a.m. and submit a fresh complaint. Thereupon, the petitioner's statement will be recorded and First Information Report will be registered and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
