This Petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 89 days in filing the criminal appeal against the judgment, dated 24.01.2025 in Spl.S.C.No.19 of 2020, on the file of the Special Court for Trial of SC/ST (POA) Act cases, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputhur.

2.Despite receipt of notice, the respondent 2 and 3 have not turned up.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State and also perused the records.

4.Considering the quantum of delay and also the reasons assigned, the delay of 89 days in filing the Criminal Appeal, is condoned and accordingly, this petition is allowed.
