The petitioner has filed the writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose the revision petition preferred by the fifth respondent, dated 23.06.2017 within the time period stipulated by this Court.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions, would submit that the revision petition preferred by the fifth respondent, dated 23.06.2017 has already been disposed of by the second respondent vide proceedings dated 12.10.2022 in Ni.Mu.(B5)/29428/2017, wherein, the revision petitioner's claim was rejected. Hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication. 3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
