When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition and he has also made the following endorsement : "Upon instructions from the client, I may be permitted to withdraw the Writ Petition."

2. Heard the learned counsel for the Dindigul Corporation Mr.M.Thirunavukkarasu, who appear through Video Conferencing. It is represented that the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. However a caveat is placed on the second respondent to return back the earnest money deposit of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) to the 2/4

petitioner herein within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In view of the above submission and endorsement made, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
