ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take appropriate action against the persons doing Kattapanchayat in the petitioner's street, based upon the petitioner's representation dated 21.07.2014 and 01.12.2014.

2. Heard Mr.S.Muthukrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and Mr.R.M.S.Sethuraman, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 2 and 3. 2/5

3. Considering the prayer sought for in the writ petition and also considering the fact that the representation has been made as early as in the year 2014, the writ petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the third respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the third respondent shall consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks thereafter, after affording an opportunity to the necessary parties concerned.

4. With the above said directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
