O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.60 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that when petitioner came to his native place to attend the rituals of his mother, he parked the car in front of his relative's house, at mid-night, the unknown persons set fire in the car belonging to the petitioner along with another two-wheeler belonging to some other person. It is further submitted that though case has been registered, no action has been taken, therefore, sought for suitable direction.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent on the other hand submitted that sofar they have been examined 17 witnesses, but they could not identify the culprits. It is submitted that they have sought for the details of the cell phones which were found close to the scene of occurrence at the time of incident and requested the service providers to give the 2/4

details and the investigation is in progress and requested short time to complete the same and file a final report.

4. Considering the circumstances, this petition is disposed of directing the respondent to complete the investigation and file the charge-sheet as expeditiously as possible within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the investigation by providing information, if any.
