Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to effect necessary changes in the computer patta in respect of patta No.470, Survey No.109/6 and 109/8 situated at Silanthagudi Village, Sivagangai Taluk and District, which has been wrongly classified as Government dry land in the computer updation based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2019. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to effect necessary changes in the computer patta in respect of patta No.470, Survey No.109/6 and 109/8 situated at Silanthagudi Village, Sivagangai Taluk and District, which has been wrongly classified as Government dry land in the computer updation, based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.07.2019.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation on 29.07.2019 for issuance computer patta in his name in respect of the subject land, as the same has been wrongly classified as Government dry land in the computer records. However, the same is yet to be considered. Hence, the Writ Petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. In view of the same, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.07.2019 and issue compute patta in the petitioner's name in respect of the subject land, if patta is in the name 2/4

of the petitioner, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
