(R8 is suo motu impleaded vide court order dated 25.07.2025 in W.P(MD)No.20359 of 2025) Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, direct the respondents 5 and 6 to conduct temple festival namely Sri Vanthavali Karuppa Swamy Kovil, Situated at Singampatti, Kadavur Taluk, Karur District by organizing all villagers without any discrimination, based upon the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2025.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents 5 and 6 to conduct temple festival namely Sri Vanthavali 2/6

Karuppa Swamy Kovil at Singampatti, Kadavur Taluk, Karur District by organizing all villagers without any discrimination based upon the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2025.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 6 submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 02.07.2025 has to be considered by the Assistant Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Karur.

3. Recording the same, the Assistant Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Karur is suo motu impleaded as eighth respondent. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the cause title.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 6 takes notice on behalf of the 8th respondent.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of by directing the eighth 3/6

respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2025 after hearing the petitioner, seventh respondent and others, who are likely to be affected by the order to be passed. This exercise shall be completed on or before 07.08.2025. No costs.
