[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] The order dated nil, passed by the third respondent, rejecting the request made by the petitioner to conduct Cock Fight, between 8.00 a.m., to 6.00 p.m., on 28.12.2014 in "Sri Kanavai Karupanna Sami Temple", at Melakaal Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District, is under challenge in this writ petition.

2. Though the petitioner has assailed the impugned order on several grounds, we are of the view that by efflux of time, the relief sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous, as the event was scheduled to be held in the year 2014.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
