This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to interfere with the civil dispute and to give police protection to the petitioner by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 24.05.2018.

3. According to the petitioner there is a civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the third respondent and a suit is filed by the third respondent also came to be dismissed. Thereafter also, the third respondent is interfering with the petitioner's possession and also threatening him. Hence, the petitioner made a complaint before the second respondent. Since no action has been taken on the same, the present complaint has been filed.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner enquiry has been conducted and since the enquiry reveals that it is a civil dispute, the respondent police has closed the complaint with a direction to the parties to approach the civil Court for getting appropriate remedy.

5. Considering the fact that the complaint given by the petitioner has already been enquired into and closed, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in this petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
