PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order of the detention made in C.No.
104/Detention/C.P.O./T.C./2022 dated 09.08.2022 on the file of the Commissioner of Police, Tiruchirappalli City, the second respondent herein, branding the petitioner's son / detenu by name, Sivaram, S/o. Sathiyamoorthy, aged about 23 years as 'Goonda' who was originally confined in District Jail, Pudukkottai subsequently he was transferred to the Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli, Tiruchirappalli District and now he is confined at the Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli, Tiruchirappalli District and quasht eh impugned order of detention and set him at liberty by producing him before this Court.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) The petitioner is the mother of the detenu, namely, Sivaram, aged about 23 years, S/o. Sathiyamoorthy. The detenu has been detained by the 2nd respondent by his proceedings in C.No.104/Detention/C.P.O./T.C./2022 2/4
dated 09.08.2022, holding him to be a "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents has submitted that the detention order, which is impugned herein, has already been revoked by the competent authority. Therefore, the prayer sought for herein has become infructuous. 3.Recording the said statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
