ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to provide police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and to carry out brick kiln business in the property in S.No. 290, measuring to the extent of 1 acre 35 cents, situated at Balasamudram Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2025.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that, despite having issued a notice to the petitioner pursuant to his representation, the petitioner did not turn up for the enquiry. Therefore, the petition was closed, recording the petitioner's non-cooperation.

3. Per contra, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, despite the petitioner having appeared twice for enquiry, the respondent police failed to conduct any enquiry.

4. In view of the submissions made, this Court hereby directs the second respondent police to reopen the complaint given by the petitioner, issue notice to the petitioner as well as the private respondents under Section 64 of the BNSS, and conclude the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
