O R D E R

The Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the contemnors/ respondents for their willfull disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P.(MD)No.319 of 2023 dated 06.01.2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the contemnors has produced the circular issued by the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, wherein, it has been directed that CDR needed to confirm where the complainant was at the time that the document was lost. He would further submit that as per the CDR collected, the petitioner was not in Thiruppuvanam police station limits, but he would fairly concede that except the above, all other requirements contemplated in the circular issued by the Director General of Police have been complied.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has filed an affidavit sworn by the petitioner and his sister along with the certificate issued by the concerned Village Administrative Officer. 2/4

In view of the above, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is directed to serve the copies of the affidavit and the certificate issued by the concerned Village Administrative Officer to the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) and on receipt of the same, the second contemnor is directed to consider the same and pass orders within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
