2. I went through the contents of the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition.

3. The petitioners have come to this Court challenging the show cause notice issued under Section 36 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983. The petitioners are given three more weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to offer their explanation. When the notice has been issued by a competent authority, the question of interference by the writ Court at this stage does not arise at all.

4. Leaving open all the defenses of the petitioners, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
