Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 5 & 6 to take appropriate action against the seventh respondent and his men for their illegal act of excommunicating the petitioner and his family members from the village, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2024.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents 5 & 6 to take appropriate action against the seventh respondent and his men for their illegal act of excommunicating the petitioner and his family members from the village, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2024. 2/5

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate(Civil side) as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the fourth respondent has conducted enquiry and in the enquiry, the main complaint of the petitioner is that the temple committee had refused to collect temple tax from him and when he was directed to give statement, he refused to do the same and he stated that he has to get opinion from his counsel and that since the petitioner has refused to pay tax for the past two years, the local leader had demanded to pay the entire amount, which was also refused by the petitioner and filed the present petition.

3.Recording the above submissions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
