Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The grievance projected by the petitioner is that the jurisdictional police are interfering in a pending civil dispute.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent submitted that O.S.No.346 of 2015 on the file of the District Munsif 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.11079 OF 2015 Court, Madurai Town has been dismissed, while the other suit is pending.

4. The writ petition was filed in the year 2015. We are now in 2023. Cause of action no longer survives. This writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
