ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is seeking for a Mandamus to forbear the respondents from in any way laying down the road in S.F.No.140/B2 at Kulathur Village, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District by encroaching or acquiring the petitioner's land except under due process of law. 2.Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, on instructions from one Kasinatha Durai, Assistant of the Rural Development Department, would submit that there is no proposal to lay the road as of today in the petitioner's land.

3.Recording the said statement, no further adjudication is required to be made in this writ petition and the Writ Petition is closed, accordingly. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
