[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 6 to remove the encroachments made by the seventh respondent in Anai Odai, comprised in T.S.No.M.4/24-1 of Vadeeswaram Village, Agateeswaram Taluk, Kanyakumari District.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the seventh respondent, against whom the petitioner has sought the relief, is no more.
