This writ petition has been filed praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to revise the petitioner's seniority, refix the same by granting notional promotion to the post of Deputy Block Development Officer with effect from his juniors got promotion orders, to pay all other monetary and service benefits together with interest of 18% per annum by dispose of petitioner's appeal dated 15.09.2021 by the first respondent within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

2. When this Court is not inclined to entertain this prayer made in the writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.20337 of 2021 submits that he confines his relief only for the disposal of the appeal pending before the first respondent within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

In view of the above submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to dispose the appeal filed by this petitioner dated 15.09.2021 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
