Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents, their men and agents from dispossessing the Petitioner from the patta land in Survey No. 888/4D, 866/1, 890/1B, 890/4 in Patta No. 1627 and 207 situated in Keeranur Village, Kadavur Taluk, Karur District, without following the due process of law.

None appears for the writ petitioner.
2. I went through the contents of the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition. The prayer itself is that the respondents should adhere to due process of law before evicting the petitioner. No exception can be taken to the request. It is seen that the petition mentioned property is a water body. It was classified as "Tank Poramboke". The water body will have to remain as such. The respondents are directed to initiate action for clearing the encroachments in the petition mentioned water body. Of course, they will adhere to due process of law.
