The defendants in O.S.No.749 of 2017 on the file of the Principal Subordinate Judge, Madurai has approached this Court for early disposal of the suit within a reasonable time. 1/4
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners/defendants submits that the above suit was filed by the respondent/plaintiff for the relief of permanent injunction in the year 2017, wherein, pleadings have been completed in the year 2018 and trial was also commenced during 2019. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent/plaintiff filed several interlocutory applications in the suit in order to drag on the proceedings. Since the first petitioner is aged about 50, the learned counsel prays for early disposal of the suit. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the respondent/plaintiff is also 80 years old and hence he seeks early disposal of the above suit.
4.In view of the submissions made by either side and also considering the fact that the suit is of the year 2017, there shall be a direction to the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Madurai to dispose 2/4
of the suit in O.S.No.749 of 2017, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
