This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent University to change the nomenclature of the post in which the petitioner is working as Assistant Surgeon instead of Assistant Medical Officer and also to grant the petitioner all service and monetary benefits that are due to him on account of the service and pay protection conferred on him in his order of appointment order in Memo No. Estt -1/Admn.6/Appointment of Doctor /2018 dated 05.06.2018 issued based on the syndicate resolution dated 46/2018 vide Resolution No. 37.
2.Though several issues are raised in the present writ petition, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is confining to the limited relief of consideration of the petitioner's representation, dated 07.08.2020 by the respondent, within a
stipulated time.
3.Considering the request of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, in the light of the limited relief is sought to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 07.08.2020 by the respondent, in our view, this writ petition can be disposed of without going into the merits of the case with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.08.2020 and pass orders in accordance with law within a stipulated period to meet the ends of justice. 4.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 07.08.2020, submitted by the petitioner to the respondent, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
