PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, calling for the entire records relating to the impugned proceedings in Rc.No. 23223/G2/2014-1, dated 19.12.2014, of the first respondent herein and signed the same on 23.12.2014 and impugned proceedings in Rc.No. 23223/G2/2014-2, dated 19.12.2014, of the first respondent herein and signed the same on 23.12.2014 and quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent to pass appropriate orders with effect of allowing the petitioner to continue as secretary of the Senthamil Arts and Senthamil Oriental College, situate at No.54, Tamil Sangam Road, Madurai in the light of the earlier proceedings of first respondent in Mu.Mu.No.17185/G2/2014, dated 23.06.2014.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed challenging an order passed by the first respondent herein, under which, the petitioner was removed from the post of secretaryship of an aided College and the 2/4

second respondent was approved as a new Secretary. According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner had passed away on 25.05.2016 and the claim for secretaryship would not devolve upon the legal heirs. In view of the above said facts, no further orders are called for in the present writ petition.

2. With the above said observations, the writ petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions stand closed.
