According to learned counsel for the petitioners, there are civil disputes between the petitioners and unofficial respondents and O.S.No.414 of 2023 and H.M.O.P cases are pending between them, however, on 30.07.2023, at about 08.00 A.M. the unofficial respondents trespassed into the property belonging to the petitioners and committed an offence, therefore, sought for suitable police protection.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on the other hand, submits that, the request for providing police protection was filed in KK Nagar Police Station, however, the petitioner is expected to file an application before the Navalpattu Police Station.

4. Considering the circumstances, this petition is disposed of, directing the petitioners to file an application for providing police protection at Navalpattu Police Station and on filing of which, after making thorough enquiry, the Navalpattu Police are directed to dispose of the same as per law within a period of two weeks thereafter.
