The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the Respondents to stop the right of giving 'First Respect' during the 7th Day Mandagapadi Festival in Sri Kadhalivaneshwarar Temple at Thirukalambur Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District to any individual. 3.
Learned Counsel for the Fourth Respondent, on instructions, states that in furtherance to the understanding reached between the parties in the Peace Committee Meeting, no first respect had been given to any individual during 7th Day Mandagapadi Festival in Sri Kadhalivaneshwarar Temple and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the Court record As nothing remains for further consideration, the Writ Petition is disposed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
