Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner has given representation to the respondent for taking action under the provisions of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. It is alleged that the petition-mentioned persons are having a number of criminal cases to their credit.

3. It is not open to the writ Court to even call upon the detaining authority to take action under the provisions of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The matter is left entirely open to the satisfaction of the authority concerned. This Court will not be justified in issuing any kind of direction. This writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
