Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to realign the proposed high tension tower and locate it elsewhere and protect the petitioner's property of Plot No.14 measuring 2160 Sq.feet in Survey No.159/6B situated at Thanakkankulam Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District.

None appeared for the petitioner.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for respondents 1 to 3 had produced a letter given by the petitioner indicating that the petitioner had sold out the property and that he is not interested in prosecuting the matter.

3. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner is not present, the said letter is taken on record.

4. In view of the letter given by the petitioner himself to the respondent-Corporation, no further adjudication is required to be made in this writ petition and the Writ Petition is accordingly closed.
