ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This petition has been filed to permit the petitioner to intervene in the above bail petition in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.20029 of 2024. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent/Sole Accused. 3.It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent / accused that the entire amount has been settled to the petitioner.
4. However, the petitioner prayed for a direction to pay interest. This Court is of the considered opinion that interest cannot be levied in chit transaction. Hence the same is rejected.
5.Recording the payment made to the petitioner, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
