The petitioner is the de-facto complainant in Crime No.144 of 2014 registered on the file of Inspector of Police, Surandai Police Station, Tirunelveli District. The second respondent is not justified in keeping an FIR pending for seven long years. The second respondent is directed to file Final Report within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

2.With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
