ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Electricity Board to provide electricity service connection to the residential property of the writ petitioner.

2. According to the official respondent, poles have to be erected and lines have to be drawn through the private property of various persons. Those persons are raising objection and hence, the electricity service connection could not be provided to the writ petitioner.

3. The learned Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 contend that with regard to the same issue, two second appeals are pending before this Court in S.A(MD)Nos.79 of 2013 and 225 of 2014. 2/4

4. The learned Counsel for the writ petitioner submits that he is negotiating with the other neighbors to erect the pole and draw electricity service connection to his property. In case, if he succeeds in convincing them, he would like to approach the Electricity Board for effecting electricity service connection. In such an event, without disturbing the property of respondents 2 and 3 herein, the first respondent is directed to provide electricity service connection.

5. With the above said observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
