This petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.10.2018 and to direct the respondents to pay compensation for the rape and brutal murder of his daughter namely Baby.Mahalakshmi aged about 4 years under Victim Compensation Scheme, within the time that may be stipulated by this Court..
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the 3rd respondent registered a case in crime No.479 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 363, 369, 302, 201 and 379 of I.P.C. and Sections 5(m) and 6 of Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO) against https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P (MD) No.24246 of 2018 one Rajkumar and after competition of enquiry, the 3rd respondent filed final report and the same was taken cognizance in Spl.S.C.No.60 of 2018 by the learned Mahila Judge, Fast Track Court, Dindigul and after completion of the trial, the trial Court convicted the accused by the judgment dated 22.08.2019, observing that as per the order in V.C.A.No.12 of 2019 dated 03.06.2019, a sum of Rs.2 lakhs has been awarded by the trial Court payable to the P.W.1., viz., the petitioner herein.
3.In view of the said submission, this Court is of the view that the prayer sought for in this petition has already been complied with by the Government and hence, recording the said submission, this writ petition is closed.
