This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give sufficient police protection to the public vide the petitioner's complaint dated 20.09.2019 in CSR No. 720/2019 on the file of the second respondent.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that due to civil dispute between the petitioner and the fourth respondent, a suit in O.S. No.167 of 2018 is pending on the file of the learned District Munsif, Tenkasi. That apart, based on a complaint lodged by the petitioner, dated 20.09.2019, CSR No.720 of 2019 was issued and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL.O.P (MD) No. 14029 of 2019 after conducting enquiry the same was closed. The statement is recorded.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted and hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
