ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed, seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.07.2024 and to resolve the petitioner's grievance to conduct business in Nethajibose Vegetable Market situated at Tirunelveli Town, Tirunelveli.

2.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.According to the petitioner, the respondent Corporation conducted public auction for renovated 75 shops at Nethajibose Market, Tirunelveli Town, Tirunelveli, where the petitioner is one of the successful bidders in respect of Shop No.17. At the time of auction, the respondent Corporation assured that the unauthorized shop holders, who are running vegetables shop in Radhaveethi surrounding Nethajibose Market, would be removed. However, till date, the respondent Corporation has not taken any steps to remove them. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation dated 30.07.2024 to the respondents in this regard. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

4.Mr.D.Gandhiraj, learned Special Governance Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered and necessary orders would be passed in accordance with law within a period that may be stipulated by this Court. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, I direct the authorities concerned to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.07.2024 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
