Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. As seen from the prayer it appears that this writ petition has been filed for Mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent to issue the transfer form for the 5th Semester academic year 2012. As seen from the prayer the relief sought for is for the year 2012 and therefore, the writ petition has now become infructuous.

2.Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
