ORDER

This petition is filed seeking transfer of investigation in Crime No.99/2018 from the file of the fourth respondent to the second respondent or any other agency.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate would submit that the petitioner during the course of investigation has given a statement that the accused person cancelled the deed in the presence of Tahsildar, Ottapidaram. Hence, the petitioner regained the property. Because of the above said cancellation, they have entered into compromise. Subsequent to that, the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has undertaken to acquire the property for a sum of Rs.2,75,000/-. That was also agreed by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.21833 of 2018 petitioner and he gave a statement that no further action needs to be taken on the complaint.

3. In view of the statement given by the petitioner, nothing survives for further direction or consideration in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
