This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to award three marks to the petitioner as the petitioner has crossed 4.50mts in long Jump and add the same to his overall cut off marks.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner crossed only 4.49 meters and has not crossed 4.50 meters. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has already selected in the subsequent selection and she is undergoing training. When the learned Counsel for the petitioner was advised to withdraw, the Counsel submitted that the petitioner has not given any instructions to withdraw.

3. Therefore, this Court is dismissing the Writ Petition as infructuous because the petitioner has already been selected in the subsequent selection process. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
