2. When the matters were taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board submitted that the petitioner's application dated 30.09.2016 is not pending on file, and further stated that the petitioner had stopped production. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police, upon instructions, submitted that the petitioner's unit has been dismantled and the premises where the petitioner was functioning are now lying vacant.

3. In view of the statements made by the learned counsels appearing for the Pollution Control Board as well as the respondent Police, no further adjudication is required to be made in these Writ Petitions.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petitions stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
