PRAYER: This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, directing the respondents No.1 and 2 to produce the body or person of detenu, the petitioner's minor daughter namely, Ambika, daughter of Maruthaiyan, aged about 17 years before this Court from the illegal custody of the 3rd respondent and hand over to the petitioner.

Pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 17.10.2019, we have been infomed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the medical examination of the detenu has been completed and 164 Statement of the detenu has also been recorded before the concerned Court.

H.C.P(MD)No.984 of 2019 3.This Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.127 of 2019 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file a final report before the concerned Court.
