ORDER

The petitioner is no more. However, this writ petition cannot be closed as abated. This is because the issue concerns the interest of a temple namely, Arulmigu Meenakshi Sokkanathar Temple, Parithipanur. The petitioner has submitted a representation to the effect that the lands endowed as service inam have been converted as private patta lands. In this regard, enquiry was ordered to be conducted. The second respondent is said to have conducted enquiry and submitted the report to the first respondent. The first respondent shall pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 19.07.2014 on merits and in accordance with law after notice to all the interested parties. This exercise shall be completed 2/4

within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. 2.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
