PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.601 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.5 herein, who was arrested on 04.09.2022 for the alleged offence under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 and 29(1) NDPS Act, 1985, in Crime No.601 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.This is the sixth bail application filed by the petitioner before this Court. 1/3

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the earlier bail applications have been dismissed by this Court by the orders dated 10.11.2022, 04.01.2023, 20.03.2023, 17.04.2023 and 26.07.2023. Further he would submit that along with the contraband, the petitioner was arrested. On that ground, the earlier applications were dismissed. He would further submit that the contraband was recovered from this petitioner only.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has restricted his prayer that direction may be issued to the concerned trial Court to expedite the trial process and complete the same within two months.

5. Considering the request made by the leanred counsel for the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the concerned trial Court to expedite the trial process and complete the same within three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is at liberty to file the bail application before the concerned Court without referrence to this Court.

6. With the above said direction and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
