ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of his application dated 09.04.2025, seeking rectification of UDR Patta, pertains to Sl.No.247/6 in Karaiyur Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukottai District, by considering the petitioner's subsequent representation dated 17.06.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2/6

4. According to the petitioner, the subject property in Sl.No.247/6 in Karaiyur Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukottai District is the petitioner's ancestral property. The Patta for the subject property in Patta.No.233 stood in the name of the petitioner's brother Ramasamy, During UDR updation, the name of the private respondent was wrongly entered in the revenue records in respect of the subject property. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation on 17.06.2025, seeking rectification of the same. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 17.06.2025 will be considered in accordance with law.

6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.06.2025, seeking rectification of UDR pertains to Sl.No.247/6 in Karaiyur Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukottai 3/6

District and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve

(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the 4th respondent.

7. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
