ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed challenging an order passed by the State Information Commission, which has debarred the petitioner permanently from filing any application or appeal under the Right to Information Act.

2. The State Information Commission was constrained to pass such order in view of unnecessary allegations made by the writ petitioner in his application and in the appeal memorandum of grounds. Now, the petitioner has filed an affidavit, dated 22.10.2022 withdrawing all the allegations made against the State Information Commission and its Presiding Officers. This Court takes on record the affidavit filed by the writ petitioner. The writ petitioner was debarred from making any application under the Right to Information Act by an order of the State Information Commission, dated 11.09.2013. Already the petitioner has 2/4

suffered for the past 9 years. This Court hopes that the petitioner would not file any unnecessary application, which would attract such kind of ban from the State Information Commission. Hence, the order impugned in the writ petition is set aside.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 03.11.2022 Index :
