O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 18.03.2024 for relaxation of age limit to participate in the selection process for the post of Seasonal Assistant in the respondent Department.

2. As on today he is aged about 37 years and the age limit for participating in the selection process for the post of Seasonal Assistant in the respondent Department is 35 years. Seeking to relax the age limit, the petitioner has sent a representation on 18.03.2024 to the respondent and the same has also been acknowledged by the office of the respondent. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the above said facts, the respondent herein is directed to 2/5

consider the request of the petitioner on merits and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of There shall be no order as to costs.
