O RDER This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kuzhithurai, Kanniyakumari District, to dispose of C.C.No.186 of 2021, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kuzhithurai, Kanniyakumari District, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondent Police have filed a case in C.C.No.186 of 2021 for the offence under Section 379 of I.P.C against the the petitioner and charges have been framed and summons have been issued to the witnesses, however, trial has not yet commenced. The petitioner has filed a copy of the "B" Diary which goes to show that the matter is posted for evidence.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that there are number of cases pending against the petitioner and as per the directions of the learned Judicial Magistrate, the respondent Police will produce the witnesses. 2/4

In view of the submissions made by both sides and on perusal of records, this petition is disposed of, directing the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kuzhithurai, to dispose of C.C.No.186 of 2021, as expeditiously as possible not later than six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 22.08.2023 NCC : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No Index : Yes / No tsg 1.The Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kuzhithurai, Kanyakumari District.
