This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.24 of 2021 on the file of the Inspector of Police, City Crime Branch, Trichy City.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submitted that the respondent police has completed the investigation in Crime No.24 of 2021 and filed final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Trichy West. Hence, at this stage, the prayer sought for by the petitioners has become infructuous.

3. Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
