Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the impugned undated notification passed by the 2nd respondent introducing as amendment in the prospectus for Admission to MBBS/BDS Degree Courses in Tamilnadu Government Medical/Dental Colleges, 2019-2020 session with regard to the prescribed cut-off dated as 04.08.2019 for candidates to discontinue the BDS course without penalty to quash the same and for a consequential direction to the respondents to refund the penalty of Rs.10,00,000 (Rupees Ten Lakhs) collected from the petitioner. Learned State counsel has placed before this Court written instructions, which reads as follows:

2. Recording the aforesaid stated position of the respondents, instant Writ Petition is disposed of directing that the fee amount mentioned in the written instructions (scanned and reproduced supra) shall be refunded by respondents to writ petitioner on or before 20.11.2019.

3. Though instant writ petition is disposed of, Registry to list this matter under the caption 'For Reporting Compliance' on 25.11.2019. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
