PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 04.07.2015 and take appropriate action against the 3rd respondent herein in accordance with law and provide necessary police protection to the petitioner's life and property situated at T.S.No.10/3 measuring an extent of 15 cents, Devakottai Municipal Town, Sivagangai District and pass such other and further orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

This petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 04.07.2015 and take appropriate action against the 3rd respondent herein in accordance with law and provide necessary police protection to the petitioner's life and property situated at T.S.No.10/3 measuring an extent of 15 cents, Devakottai Municipal Town, Sivagangai District. 2.The petitioner sought police protection to his life and property situated at T.S.No.10/3 measuring an extent of 15 cents, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Now, almost 5 years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. 3.In view of the same, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint, on fresh cause of action, if so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
