The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner made a submission that during the pendency of the present writ petition, the respondents themselves have dropped the recovery proceedings and settled all the terminal and pensionary benefits due to the writ petitioner.

2. In view of the fact that the grievance of the writ petitioner has already been redressed, the writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
